Statement
Where direct or indirect OSPs are used, CDR Rule 4.11(3)(f)(i) requires the accredited person to specify that fact but do not require specific entities to be surfaced to the consumer. These guidelines recommend that specific OSPs and their roles be surfaced to the consumer in the consent flow; these details may reflect the accredited person’s CDR Policy on service providers' involvement at that point in time. Consumer research also suggested that consumers expected transparency in this process, and that surfacing details about participants and their roles would facilitate trustworthiness and informed consent.
